- Getting in. Building door from this page or the intercom, then third floor, no lift. The keys are in the keybox by the apartment door: enter the code, take both sets, and scramble the digits after closing it.
- Check-in from 4:00 PM, check-out by 10:00 AM. Dropping bags earlier is usually fine, just ask in the chat.
- Quiet hours 10:00 PM – 8:00 AM. It is a residential building with neighbours who live here all year.
- No smoking indoors. Shoes off inside, please: the parquet is original.
- Kitchen and laundry. Oven, microwave, fridge, Nespresso machine and a moka pot, washing machine. No dryer, and no TV by choice.
- Waste. Sorted into plastic, glass, paper and general. The bins are about ten metres to the left, at the corner of Via Panisperna.
- Leaving. Put both sets of keys back in the keybox, scramble the digits, and pull the door shut.

These guides are written in English.
Where I actually eat in Monti Nine doors, every one within four minutes of the front door From the airport to Monti Four ways in from Fiumicino, four from Ciampino, with prices The Monti guide The first rione of Rome, between the Forum and Santa Maria Maggiore A day in Monti, morning to midnight One day in the neighbourhood, hour by hour Three days in Rome on foot Almost no public transport, and one hard rule The new metro station under the Fori A station that doubles as an archaeological museum The churches of Monti The oldest apse mosaic in Rome and a Michelangelo, minutes apart An afternoon shopping in Monti The four streets worth walking, and what each one is for The Suburra, two thousand years ago How to read the history in the street you are standing on Rome with kids The unglamorous things that decide whether a family trip works Monti or Trastevere? An honest comparison of the two neighbourhoods Why I chose Monti I could have lived anywhere in Rome, and chose the first rione What a design apartment actually means What it should mean, and what to ask before you book
